Service Description
The NRA Basic Rifle Course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe use of a rifle in target shooting. This course is at least 8-hour long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. You will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing, and kneeling positions; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. After passing the course, you will receive a course completion certificate. What to bring: 1) A quality rifle (AR-15, hunting, sports, etc.) 2) Quality 200-250 rounds of manufactured ammunition suitable for practice 3) Two spare magazines 4) Pen and paper 5) Eye protection 7) Hearing protection 8) Wear appropriate, comfortable clothing with closed-toe shoes. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Otherwise, a $50 late cancellation fee will be applied to your refund. You can also reschedule your appointment to the next available class to avoid the late cancellation fee.
